The Wooksta!

From Uncle Frank:

KP Spitfire Mk 9: Prague issue - 3 x AZ Spit 9s, decals for 21(!) Czech aircraft.  All for the same price as the AZ Spit 9 Joypack, plus 3 new sprues (guns, wingtips and slipper tank).  Result!  Need to stash a few more of these.

Shed loads of Model/Xtradecal RAF Markings and codes.  Black, Sky, MSG.

Looked at some cabinets a few weeks back.  Nice glass fronts, shelves, cabinet at the base.  Need to check the sizes and then I'll nab them.

Just shot a pair of Dragon 1:72 Soviet aircraft weapon sets for EUR 5,-. You never know, and the Cold War GB is coming soon...

Dizzyfugu

Found an Aoshima 1:72 Ki-100 and could persuade the seller to let it go for just EUR 12,-.
Might receive a new engine (yes, a Jumo 213 with an annular radiator).

The Wooksta!

Might be easier to convert the Hasegawa Ki 61.  Better base kit if the Aoshima one is the nasty 60s tooling.

I succumbed and picked up a 1/72 Italeri Mig 37 Ferret today.
I don't like the nose so a spot of rhinoplasty will be in order.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Off eBay all in 1/72 scale;
Revell EH-101 Merlin HM.1
Revell Sea King Mk41
Fujimi Kaman YSH-2E LAMPS Mk2
Starfix HH-3 Jolly Green Giant

I'm going to use the Sea King Mk41 as a donor for the Sea King ASaC.7/AEW using Airfix parts and FreightDog resin radome.

The Jolly Green Giant to get tiger stripes and the Royal Navy make over.

The Tu-91 has alot of appeal and whiff potential, and i'll certainly get one although i decided to wait for it to come into stock in the UK in the new year.

Just got the other two sets of 8 x F-35B in 1/700 scale, so decided to remove a pair to see what they are like. They are great, the one in STOVL mode has its vtol doors open and the engine pointed down and they have the weapons on the wing Pylons on some of them, whilst others are clean.

Just need to remove the other 22, wash them and prime them so i can see them !, and then paint them up

I always liked the Airfix Hampden. Built it when it first came out and it was state of the art the. Obviously shows its age now now but I still have one in the stash that's slated to be Polish if I ever get around to it.

Lucky lad Zac. Looking forward to your opinion on what is reported to be a stunner. So will she be real world ?

Well as for me there was one largish box from Humbrol (via a very nice lady  ;D) which once I'd worked my way through all the foam bubbles contained, all in 1/72 -

He III
Beaufighter
Typhoon - the "PROPer" one

As I have real world builds of these kits either done or planned they will all be wiffed. Current thinking (I haven't had a drink yet !) is Italian for the He III, USN, in the Atlantic scheme, or French Indo China for the Beau, and RNZAF, instead of Corsairs, for the Typhoon
