Allan - there was a Dart also, well two: Cavalier (who started the Enforcer) and a private Australian one. There's a 1/72 conversion kit for this latter one by Red Roo Models, that would make a great starting point!

Thanks for the heads up! Appreciate it

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Zac, that looks an awful lot like my Boeing A-21 Enforcer III, lol. With some obvious differences, but as they say, "Great minds...".
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

KiwiZac

Oh no, I'd not seen that! Great minds indeed!!

Good to have something modern to fall back on when the Harriers are retired!

Heritage Models in the UK also do a 1/72nd & 1/48th conversion kit for the Cavalier Turbo III Mustang which had the RR Dart motor. Which was the Piper Enforcer was based on.

Here's my baby from a Mustang STGB:

What a great model and idea, well done!  Gotta love seeing hot Mustangs!

Captain Canada

That's just gorgeous Zac ! Love the look of this one. I like the way it looks behind the canopy, like a Tucano...long and sleek. Very well done.

Oh wow, that's gorgeous! The paint is wonderful - especially the rocket pod, it looks perfect! Thanks for your kind words when yours looks so great!

Thanks CC - it was a load of fun to do! Just wish I'd had some decals for the canopy detcord...

Photo links refreshed with great thanks to Flickr and none at all to Photobucket.

I still want one of those Lift Here 1/72 resin Enforcer kits to do a real-world one...one day!

I have the Red Roo conversion set somewhere in the stash - haven't used it yet, but it looks very good and crisp, should work well together with a P-51D donor kit.

That RAF Enforcer turned out nicely!
