More of the same plus I have started painting the Dark Sea Grey (Vallejo - photo makes it look darker than it is) on the Crusader.  The demarkations I drew on in pencil and then hand painted - I was having a steady hand day.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

A very steady hand! Good work, mate!

Thanks mate.  Some days the mojo is there, others it all goes teats up.

Ooooh yeah!! That's looking good and always nice to see profiles transfer over to three dimensions!

Very much so, and impressive

Panic time today.
I was checking Crusader parts in the box and realised I didn't have the opening section of the canopy and couldn't be 100% sure if it had been there when I got the kit.
Arrrrggghhhhh!
I checked the floor, checked the other open kit boxes and then checked the bench where I found it amongst the detritus.
Phew.

I have almost finished the little Toyota Aircraft Tractor from the Hasegawa Mentor kit.  I must say it looks snazzy (as mu father would say) with it's chrome 5 spoke Hot Wheels wheels.  I just need to dob some clear red and orange and clear on the relevant lights, attach Fred the driver and it is done.

I have painting the chassis of the Itasha Toyota.  As it's a kerbside most of the underneath is moulded in one so paint detailing is the order of the day.  Shades of silver and black.

Edsel chassis is undergoing PSR.  Chassis is separate from the floor pan and is riddled with sinkmarks.

I am still painting Grach fiddley bits.

Crusader got second coat of sky on the lower half of the fuselage today.  That should be it for colours on the large pieces.
I have noticed that Panther G portrayed a grey or metal strip on the leading edge of the wings which I will have to mask for.

But I spent most time today sanding the hull of the Sea Witch.  Lots of parting lines to remove, some flash and some prominent joint seams.  I put a coat of primer on it (seemed like about half a can) but it will need some PSR before any more painting.

Small increments of progress on all the other usual suspects but I did finish this.

It's the Toyota Aircraft Tractor from the Hasegawa T-34 Mentor (it also comes with the Mitsubishi Mu 2-J).  I lost a front wheel so used some from a Hot Wheels car that I found in my parts box.
I may have gone overboard making it looks grubby and used.  Driver is Fred Jr.  Expect to see it towing aircraft around Dadswell Bridge Field.

That Crusader is looking very good, great work.

Thanks Chris & DFZ.

Crusader is nearly ready for some clear before the decals.

Edsel got a coat of what I think of as "Calomine Pink".  I'm going to do a purple to hot pink fade on the roof and in the coves on the rear wings.

Grach is up on its wheels.

And here's the hull of the Sea Witch with a pot of Tamiya paint to give some scale.  I used a plastikote primer I don't normally use and it is taking forever to dry properly.

Great progress mate. Mind you I'm glad you posted the picture of the "Calomine Pink" Edsel, after looking at the rather vivid green on the Crusader's innards I needed to calm down

Grach is looking really good

That's my phone.  It's not quite that vivid.

Loaded the Grach today.  Now all it needs is a few licks of paint, the undercarriage doors and the air brake thingos on the wingtips.

I've never thought of the Grach as being an attractive aircraft. however that scheme almost makes it look "pretty". Lovely scheme

Yeah, I like that!!!

I always thought they looked "coolest" from the underside... as if it were flying overhead.... at a bit of a bank, of course.

Still trying to find a TM version to build. . ..

Zvezda and ArtModel do 1/72 Su 39s (Su 25TM).

Or you could use the Cooperativa Su 25UBK or ArtModel Su 25 UB and paint over the rear half of the canopy.

I prefer the single seater version.  But I do have an example of the Cooperativa UBK.

Lots of shed time today for not much progress.  I blame Takom for this.  I was putting together the Kraz truck and their stupid parts breakdown made it soooo slow.  Each differential had six parts to it and that's not counting hubs or springs or driveshafts.  that's just the pumpkins and axle housings.
The assembly order in the instructions is also illogical and could, unless their tolerances are a lot more precise than they actually are, result in not all the wheels sitting on the ground.
