Oooh yeah there we go. I guess I never found any because I didn't actually look for one. There's tons of 'em on eBay.  ;D  It helps to search for Su-39, instead of Su-25TM, too, I noticed !  Woops, user error as usual.  ;D

I like the single seater, too. A-10's also "look funny" as double seaters. I'm wanting to build it like the one I flew in Ace Combat Infinity and I had a special skin for it that looks like sort of a Soviet style SEA camo.  Sort of like what is on the Art kit but the pattern and ratios are completely different. It might even be made up, and, if so, I suppose I could enter it into the Cold War GB as a whif.

Thanks for the tip and pointing me in the right direction.

I didn't know 25TM = 39 until I had a look at wikipedia.
I suppose they decided that they had made enough changes from the original 25 to justify a new number.

Today I wired the Edsel engine (361ci Ford FE V8) and its' ready to go into the chassis.

I also did some fiddling with the Ural, Crusader and Grach and finished the crazy paving i've been laying around the Hills Hoist.

That looks almost real Fred
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

TheChronicOne

Nice cherry picker, too!!        I'll have to copy that.

Yeah! Love the Edsel engine!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks folks.
With the engine I was aiming for "grimy, in regular use with no major leaks.  Easilly reached parts kept clean."

Went to see Ross Noble last night.
Two hours of him talking complete bollocks about anything and everything.  Hilarious.  A great night out.

Kraz truck - here is how I had to clamp everything to ensure all the rear bogie parts were aligned.

After taking the pic I pulled it all apart and then glued it again with the axles the correct way round.

Crusader is ready for decals.

Grach just needs a touch of satin clear on the wingtip airbrake units.

Engine is in the Edsel chassis and the interior tub is attached.  Next up is the suspension.

Sea Witch hull PSR stage 1 has finished.

decals on the Crusader today.

I varied slightly from Panther G's profile as the decals I was using (an Aussie Decals Sea Fury set) had both white and black lettering and numbers, I couldn't be bothered to piece together 823 and I put the stencils on before realising they were were the bort number should have been.

Grach is finished but I have decided it needs a little Chadian ground crewman to accompany it.

How many times have I posted that and ....................?

Crusader is up on her feet now.  Still no wings though.
Luckilly the hot pink paint I spattered across her mostly cleaned off.

Edsel body is painted.  Not one of my best fades but it will suffice.

I assume  the F-8 had a "hot" shade of paint spattered across it, rather than paint at a high temperature ?

I do like the look of that Edsel body shell

Larry Flint would approve the colour choice for the Edsel.

I love that shade of pink (Underrated color! ), finish looks nice.
