The 222 scheme is interesting  Not one I'm that familiar with

According to the references I have been reading on line it is little known because in B&W photos the brown and the grey look identical and so the pattern cannot be seen and it is assumed that the vehicle is painted in the later all grey scheme. 

Makes sense.

Egg Phantom now has one coat of all three colours on it.
They are not accurate but then its an Egg Plane.  I've gone for more a more cartoony palette.

As I was on uncle duty this weekend's main creative outlet has been paper mache.  Lae has designed a helmet and we have been building it (since January) from a tupperware lettuce tub, cereal packet, newspaper, carpet tape and wallpaper paste.  Today we mounted the horns.

Make sure the helmet is done by Halloween! You'll need some more of a costume to go with it, plus weapons of course......

I like that helmet mate 

Got some traditional influences (12th/13th Century ?) and then some "modern" fantasy with the horns. Nice mix

Before the horns were on I think it's main influence was Bender.




Today:  More paint on the Egg Phantom, some paint on the Analogue and attached nacelles to the Secret Project Only Known as No.2 (AKA Spokan2).  There's going to be a fair bit of PSR on this one.

As it's also my daughter's dog's birthday* I now have a way of remembering when TLaP Day is!

Actually, I jumped the gun on TLaP Day, this year. When I was affected by the Bell's palsy I was often falling into pirate-speak, much to the amusement of my co-workers (the droopy face suited it perfectly).
