Talking of food, yesterday I made this.
Marmaillarde by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr
That's 3 Citrus Marmalade (Seville Orange, Lemon & Lime).  2 Kg of fruits worth.  The Limes and Lemons were our own.

Today I puttied the wing gaps on the Analogue with PPP and a wet (sucked) cotton bud.
Took a while.

And here is a mock up of the Star Farrier (still not 100% on the name).

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Neat work with the PPP. That type/size of seam is what the stuff's designed for.

I'm going to get some of their "ready measured" epoxy putty at Telford to see what that's like.

Well done on the marmalade front. Never been a fan of that or jam myself but I've a friend who makes pickles/chutneys to die for. Especially her Mexican Chile Chutney and lime pickle

A man of considerable talents, our Zenrat!

Jack of all trades mate...
;)

Major step forward on SPOKAN2 (Secret Project Only Known As No. 2)  today - I glued the wings on.
This seems to have gone OK which means that it is going to work and will result in a model rather than a pile of scrap parts and so I can reveal it...

...soon, when I can mock it up on its wheels.

This is the secret project, a Weston C-25G Marion.  A B-25G re-engineered as a cargo plane.  I wanted to get the fuselage closer to the ground to aid in on and off loading cargo manually.  Cargo doors are in the port side of the fuselage behind the wing.  It's going to need a heck of a lot of nose weight.

B-25s always do for some reason, I've never built one that wasn't a tail sitter.  :banghead:

Everything you see is either from the Italeri kit box or scratch built (the vertical tail).  The wings are the standard B-25 wings pie cut just inboard of the nacelles.
If you look at the starboard wing you can see white styrene where I backfilled the cut.

It's not.  It has a slight gull wing but I cut a wedge shape out of the underneath, folded along the upper surface and glued the edges together.  This made it much more "gully".

Yup, the Airfix one I've just finished still teeters on the edge if I as much as look at it to hard even though I've put twice the amount of weight Airfix recommend in her.

Technically speaking it's not a gull-winged aircraft.
The original design and prototype had a constant dihedral of 4º 31' 23",
flight test revealed handling issues which were determined to be caused
by the constant dihedral, the outer wing panels were then repositioned to
a 0º 21' 39" dihedral which eliminated the problems.
