Because of my collection of the Hasegawa kits I like to call "Box Art & Font" I have plenty of, not necessarily old crap kits but dated kits perfect for whiffing (alright, so some of them ARE crap as well).

Here it is with two shades on.

You're right, I love all them old kits. Nothing better than picking up a mess of, say, 12 1/72 kits from the 70's and 80's for $40 or something wherease that gets me ONE of my stupid airliners a lot of the time.  ;D

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

A good day in the shed today.
Progress on the Sea Witch.
Masked and put silver car paint on the Analogue.  When I build the second one I shall have to remember to wash the sprues as the tape removed chunks of paint right down to the bare plastic. 
Cleared the Currawong preparatory to transfers.

I'd thought of giving the 104 new wings but with a different layout. The original ones were so short that, IMO, it made the plane ugly but you hit the nail right on the head.
