Thanks folks.
I cleared the base today.   Satin clear.  Now I just need to make sure I don't overdo the filter.  It needs to be muted, but not too much.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yeah, I usually think 'Just a bit more - oops, too much - Carp!' :banghead:

zenrat

I managed to avoid that.

Both the WOT8 and the Panzer 4 had their final tweaks today and are ready for Expo.

They are both really nice pieces of work

Thanks folks.
I dropped them both (along with three whiff aircraft) off at Expo this evening.
I'll take more proper pics after I get them back on Monday.

Hmmm, yeah.  I see what you mean.
Sorry.

The WOT8 is particularly fragile and travels in a foam and bubblewrap cradle inside a plastic box which once held roofing screws and just happens to be a perfect fit.

I've just grokked your signature.

Just putting this here because other than back story it's not really a whiff.

Fordson WOT 8.  People's Democratic Republic of Victoria 1949.

following WW2 a government surplus four wheel drive army truck would have provided perfect for an enterprising bloke to operate a business shifting mixed cargo out into the more remote corners of the great state of Victoria.
My model depicts our budding entrepreneur pausing for sanger while loading for his next trip.

The Model.

ICM Fordson WOT8 built OOB apart from lowering door windows and replacing the plastic mirror stems with wire after braking the passenger side one too many times.
Weathered with hairspray and weathering products from Vallejo, Mig, SMS, and homemade,
Cargo from various sources
Figure by MiniArt with heady Hornet.

Very well deserved! That figure is perfect and the slab of slate is a great touch.

Thanks folks.

The slate is left over from our patio and garden paths.  Got a lot of it...
