Four wheels on my Fiero, and I keep rolling along...
After gluing on the fourth wheel I noticed i'd got some epoxy on the body above a wheel arch so I picked at it...
...and have since touched up where the paint came off with the glue.  You can barely see it.  Or so I keep telling myself.
Just some fiddley bits to paint and attach and the radiator to put back after it fell off while I was clamping the chassis into position.

Battle has two coats of the first camo colour.  While this pseudo winter scheme looks good it is temporary as I will be painting the white bits grey tomorrow.
I tried to do some research on Coastal Command camo schemes but got sucked down a rabbit hole which ended on britmodeller with people desperately seeking proof to justify a scheme they had their heart set on.  I had to get out of there as they were harshing my vibe.

I've begun the orange on the Egg J-15 for the Tiger paint.

Tinydyne fuselage transfers are progressing.

Here's the Staghound.  Those are the kit wheels.  They will be replaced with a set from a Hobby Boss Cadillac Gage Commando on which I will use the weighted resin set waiting in the box.

And the recovery of the Boomerang is complete and its ready to go back in the display case.

All are looking very good, Fred, but the Tinydyne is looking fantastic!

Busy, BUSY Fred, and what Wombie said is RIGHT on the money, the Tinydyne looks the business!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I'm thirdeded with the Tinydyne..looks brilliant 👏 👌

Fred mate if ya wanted to replace the  guns BNA will or should sort ya if they have em in stock ..RB make beautiful brass barrels or live resin make complete replacement 50s.
The best thing..is there cheap too. ;D
The Stag is looking good so far but why can't Italeri seem to get wheels right 😕 🤔

Fourthed.

IIRC the Coastal Command scheme was MSG over Sky, at least later in the war.

The Quickboost fifty barrels are also very nice, and if you get a late B-17 or B-24 set, you get more for your buck.

Thanks folks.

I added more transfer to the Tinydyne today.  I'm cutting up the kit stuff and patching it on (appliquéing it on?) to get round the corner at the back.  Two pieces on then Micro Sol and leave it all to set before adding more bits tomorrow.

Coastal Command schemes seem to have gone through a number of iterations.  Which one modellers are "allowed" to use depending on year, aircraft, phase of the moon, who is interpreting the B&W photos...
The one that attracted me was Extra Dark Sea Grey/Dark Slate Grey over White.  Not having those particular camo colours (and not caring what others will "allow" me to do) i'm using Dark Sea Green and Dark Green.

Fiero on her wheels.

Staghound on her replacement wheels.  Yes, they are vinyl tyres but being a car modeller I don't have the intense dislike of them some military modellers do.  And they definitely look better than the kit ones.  I'm not 100% convinced i'll be using the kit turret with the twin 50's.  While removing the wheels from their box I noticed that the open top USAF version (XM706E2) kit contains all the sprues from the M706 versions with the twin machine gun turret.  Meaning I have another turret option I have not considered...

As has been said the Tinydyne is looking gorgeous
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

When I was an Air Force SP at Grand Forks AFB, we had a Peacekeeper armored truck that that we used specifically for dog and pony shows.  We always made sure to Armor-All the tires and dash before most events

Oh ya gotta make the rubber pretty that's for sure ..if the tryes look like crap so will the rest of the vehicle.
So glad I never had to worry about that sort of thing

Everything is looking great!
I remember the old Peacekeeper. A metal box on a Dodge pickup chassis. It was an underpowered piece of crap from the get go.
