Isn't there more than enough of that in the world at the moment?  :-\

The more acute the need for the rest of us to actually don't fall for the easy solutions offered!
...

Hang on a minute. We're whiffers. I.e compulsory complicating and improving until if not perfect, at least much more fun!
We'll be fine, given that we just continue bugging off JMN's regardless of what they're JMN'ing about.  ;)

Staghound.

And after slowly struggling to build four sets of ratlines on the Sea Witch I discovered you could buy a tool/jig to make it easier.  Not wanting t spend money on something I will never use again, and already having attached the vertical components of the lines (the tool/jig builds them off the model and you fit them after) I, after a bit of head scratching, came up this scratchbodged jig which attaches to the ship with blutac and elastic bands.  It should work for the remaining lower set of lines plus the six shorter upper sets.
I also switched from superglue & accelarator to PVA as now I have a jig holding the thread aligned I don't need instant setting.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

And well done on the rigging jig!

Something has died in my shed in the vicinity of my bench (no not my mojo, and not my self respect).  I can smell it and there are flies (more files than usual).  I'm thinking it's probably a mouse that has eaten bait and decided to stick up its middle claw at me by carking it in the most awkward place it can find.
Since it's most likely (based on where the smell is strongest) behind the old bathroom vanity full of stash which lives under my bench, and which will take major effort to empty and move, it can stay there.  The smell won't last forever...

Given above, are you sure it isn't a very ancient part of your stash..? ;)

Is there a model of large enough scale to have a cockpit big enough for a mouse with its last breaths to crawl up into with his little leather helmet on and croak, pass away, leave this world, kick the bucket and bite the dust?

The Chaos' Fw 190 build could be pretty close I'd have thought.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I'm thinking 1/32 unless it a bomber, then maybe 1/48th.

Also 1/24, 1/25 cars.  Especially if fred's got an F1/Indy car in his stash

I have lots of 1/25 cars.  But the section of distributed stashage under the bench where the smell is coming from is, apart from a couple of shoe boxes full of hot wheels cars (1/64), all 1/72 aircraft.

The smell seems less today.

Beat me to it

As for the mouse's burial ? What do you think the Sea Witch is for ? Full scale (or mouse scale) Viking Funeral
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
