Absolutely
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

on top of everything for the Amphib etc GB I have started an ACE Su-25 Grach and am finishing off a Hasegawa FW 190 Dora I started a while back and then put aside.

The scheme for the Su 25 is yet to be determined but the Dora will be in zenrat industries colours (as I haven't done one for a while.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Today.

Worked on the GB Northrop and Kawanishi.
Painted over the salt on the prototype Apocalypse Post window mesh.  I'm not sure how this is going to look hence the prototype tag.  Also picked out some more rust on the wheels and washed them.
Primed the Hasegawa FW 190D.
Realigned and reglued the wing root joins on the Grach.  The Ace kit fuselage is split horizontally and it's not a good fit.  it also has sink marks.
And, continued adding fins onto an AMT '58 Edsel Pacer.  The special theme at this years Ballarat NNL is "Fins and Flames" and i've always thought that Edels were sadly lacking in the fin department.

It'll be a tail dragging lowrider with double continental kits.  I might even still have a set of turned aluminium moon discs somewhere.

What a wonderful idea!

I've always rather liked Edesls, they're so weird they're almost full size Whiffs!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I have also assembled a Tractor (Hasegawa 1/72).

And dug this out in an attempt to finish it.

I also painted the FW 190D silver and continued with the Grach.  It turns out that the Su 25 kit, while looking good on the sprues isn't a very good fit.  Having just built an A Model kit though I can deal with this.  At least its symmetrical (well so far anyway).
I did find that the intakes fitted better if I swapped sides.

#1477
Wings and tails on the Grach.  PSR next.

The prototype window mesh for Apocalypse Post was a success.  I am in the process of building another 4 units.

And this is the next zenrat industries aircraft.  An FW190D of the Southern Air Patrol.

Something else i've been working on.
This one will be OOB.  It's the Polar Lights 1/25 full detail kit which includes etch, resin and figures.
Batmobile WIP 25-01-18 by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr

I've also been looking at the asking prices of Corgi Batmobiles (the 1966 one natch).  Mint originals go for as much a $750 here.
I have one that cost me about $5 which just needs some broken parts replacing and a paint job.  Ordered the parts I can't make today.

Ford Edsel had a bidet but not fins  ;D
Will die without understanding this world.

zenrat

I have read somewhere a serious suggestion that the reason the Edsel failed to sell was because potential buyers (prolly almost exclusively male back then) subconsciously associated the vertical grille design with the female genitalia.
Whether that is true or not I now can't look at the front of an Edsel without thinking of...well, you know.

Well, as my father stated it to me many years ago, they said the Edsel was the car with
"the c**t on the front".
Nothing subconscious about it.

Spent an hour yesterday being flown over Melbourne in this.

Not the most comfortable flight but a sore backside and stiff back was worth putting up with.  I was slightly disappointed that he wouldn't fly under the Westgate Bridge. ;D

We followed that up with a look round the RAAF Museum.
I'll post pictures of that elsewhere.
Unfortunately the Avro 707 isn't on display.  It is there but its in a hanger to which the public don't have access.

Alright!

Green with envy mode on, nice one. Was the flight for a special reason or just because you could?
