Wait until she gets her stripes, decals and gloss clear coat!

I am very impressed with your "metal work"  Pilots look good as well.

Cool!! Does look good.    -- I see the Lil Buddies (TM) in there waiting on their windscreen.   ;D

That is Hyundai Clean Silver (I think - I may have got the lids mixed up on my silvers).  From a touch up rattle can.
I masked and painted some blue stripes today.  I'm not yet happy with the design though and will add some more tomorrow.

I was wondering how many people actually use these "touch up" cans to actually touch car/bike paint work up and how many use them for other things ?

I've used them for their intended purpose.  But not very often.

The Mitsubishi is now ready for decals.

Also, being at a loose end while various paints dry and glues set I have decided to see what happens when I combine these two.
Huey Warthog Start 13-04-18 by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr

The Huey is a Monogram snaptite and the Warthog is a Chinese knockoff.  Oddly, when they copied Matchboxes parts, despite softening the
panel lines and shrinking the location pin holes they still managed to crisply copy the copyright information on the inside of the fuselage.

Uncle duty this weekend so prolly no chance to get out to the shed and model.
Spent some money on-line though.  Paints for the Brother-in-Law's Sea Witch and a couple of kits.  The City HS sent me a 15% off code a while ago and it would have been a shame to waste it.
As The Boy (currently 13 7/8) refuses to eat vegetables other than chips or tomato ketchup I am hiding carrot in a Lasagne.
He won't realise as he's engrossed watching Fairy Tail - a very poorly dubbed anime.  The voice acting is non-existent.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I can't help thinking it would make a nice little flying boat ? Maybe a flying yacht ?

A WatAir Taxi, perhaps?

Maybe a "WetAir" Taxi

Why would you want an air service named after an overgrown New Zealand grasshopper?

Carefull Womby, you'll scare Kit posting pictures like that.

I have two more Mu-2s (another S and a longer J) but I'm not sure if i'll put either of them on floats*.  EricR has done one like that though.
I was looking forward to getting stuck into the Huey/Warthog today but only managed to attach the "glass" (losing on of the crew door windows to the concrete monster) before The Mad Woman came visiting and I had to stop and be civilised, make her a cup of tea and pretend to be interested in what she had to say.
By the time she left it was too late to start again so I turned on Mrs z's PS4 and robbed a jewellery shop.

*although a single hull amphibian flying boat based upon one would look good.
