Maybe a "WetAir" Taxi

Why would you want an air service named after an overgrown New Zealand grasshopper?

That's a grasshopper ? Flippin' Ada  :o I thought they might be kid's hands until I saw the lines
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

*although a single hull amphibian flying boat based upon one would look good.

That's what I was thinking of. The wing tip fuel tanks would then become the stabilising floats

It'll be about the size of a Short Sealand ---- (got one in the stash)
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Damn right you will!  :o

Did it bite his hand off later?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Was she a Kiwi?

No interruptions today.

Postie delivered a box of paints for The Sea Witch so i'll be getting on with that soon.  Hull is together, priced and painted flat black as an undercoat.  masking next.

I've been fiddling with the fuselage of the Airfix (new) Beaufighter while painting the interior and crew.  It is certainly very fussy about paint where it shouldn't be.  In order to get the bast fit possible i've scraped off every trace of paint anywhere near a joining surface.

Crew and interior of the Huey-Warthog menage-a-deux is complete.  I haven't gone to too much effort as its very basic being a snapper.
Crew are from outer space an Airfix TSR2.

I've also started putting together a wing box which will sit on the roof and to which some wings will attach.
This is proving to be a very usefull exercise as parts from one of these kits have provided a solution to one of the problems which was holding up my planned Nenes & Pegasus Rotodyne.

The KV1 is nearly finished so you might be allowed to see some pictures of that soon.
Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yup I suppose it's this CAD process but with the newer Airfix stuff any paint on the mating surfaces can cause a wee bit of fun later

And famous for saying 'Well, he would say that, wouldn't he?' during the trial of Christine Keeler way back when.
