Nope, not Kiwi.

And famous for saying 'Well, he would say that, wouldn't he?' during the trial of Christine Keeler way back when.

Thus my comment................  ;)

Do I care?  ;D ;)

I knew that Kit.  I was just pulling your plonker.
The real Captain Fat Hamster is closer your age than mine and he likes to use "Mandy Rice Davies" as a comment.

I joined the fuselage halves of the Beau today.  I put it together and ran extra thin glue along the seams leaving the cockpit floor in place but not glued yet.  This seemed the best way as it wanted a lot of tape to hold it all together while it dried.

I also made turning prop discs for the Mu-2.  I cut them out of clearish acetate sheet (slightly yellowed which adds something IMO) with a pair of dividers.  I then painted some blurry prop marks on them with a mix of gloss black & smoke paint and clear blue for the tips.  For spinners I have cut the noses off some bombs which are about the right size.

Some of the youngsters on here, those who don't have bus passes yet, may not know that though, and I felt the need to remind them, even though I've used it at least 3-4 times in the last year.  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I had to walk away today.
If I was one for throwing things then the Sea Witch would have become a flying boat.
Having primed and undercoated the hull black and then put satin black enamel along the demarkation line I proceeded to mask it so I paint the bottom red.
Not happy with some of the tape I pulled it off to move it...

...(you know what's coming next don't you)...

...and pulled a load of paint off.

Ar5e.
I'm going to need a bigger than usual stripping tank.

When I calmed down I attached the clear parts to the Mu-2, glued some Beaufighter and propped these parts together in a semblance of what I am aiming at.

I do know how you feel, my recent Attacker had a couple of  :banghead: :banghead: with the paintwork as she was coming towards the finish.

I like the look of that "semblance of what I am aiming at"  Mk I or Mk II ?

At least I hadn't put a top coat on.
I blame the primer.  As it was a big piece and I was getting low I used a can of something different I had knocking about.  I should have stuck with my usual brand.   :banghead:

I'm thinking of building it as a Jabo MkIII with the autokanon under the nose, a naval Mk IV with a torpedo or a Mk VI slinging a nuke...

So what's the Mk V, or is that a State secret ?

There is no Mk.V, there never was a Mk.V, zenrat industries™ refuses to acknowledge any possibility that a Mk.V was ever contemplated, let alone exists, & refuses to respond to any questions regarding the existence or otherwise of a Mk.V, thank you very much!

Ah, understood.

Would you like me to change your site moniker to "Zenrat Industries Press Spokesman" ?

There are those who would claim that the Mk V was a covert surveillance platform powered by electric thrusters, coated with radar and light absorbent paint and equipped with neural stunners, infra sound generators, effectors, laser blinders and focused auto suggestion oscillators.
Those who say this also usually go on to claim that Mk Vs are operated solely by that shadow fourth their of law enforcement conspiracy theorists claim is named Extraordinary Action.
Oddly, people who make these sort of claims regarding invisible and silent government aircraft seem to go away shortly afterwards.

If these claims have any basis in truth then it could be that this as yet un-named aircraft is a replacement for the zi-189 Frogmouth.

It was actually Stephen Ward who was on trial, not Christine Keeler.

Despite The Mad Woman dropping in again I had a successful day today in that I achieved the one aim I had set for myself.
I cleared the Edsel body.  This is a good thing as I have 4 weeks to complete the build for the Ballarratt NNL on May 20th.
I should make it.
As long as I don't screw up Alcladding the chrome parts.

As a bonus I finished touching in the paint around the "glass" on the Mu-2.  This is now complete apart from some gloss clear touch ups.
I also attached some tail feathers to the Huey Warthog combination.  I am thinking that this needs a pig name and I am calling it Javelina which is another name for the Collared Peccary or Skunk Pig.
