Our shows usually have a hypothetical category though sometimes that is under miscellaneous.

See more and more what ifs showing up which has helped.

Fantastic.
It was the only one there when I left it.  I'm glad it found some friends.
And at least two Fokker Friendships.  I'll be studying them tomorrow.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yeah buddy!!  I know it had to have stirred up some discussion. I found the post as I was drifting off to sleep. I forgot to save it but if I find it again I'd like to see if there is any conversation on the post itself, as well.

And yeah, there's a lot of other neat stuff there, too. A spiffing looking 727-200 and of course the Friendships are glorious, among others.

I don't usually take much notice of the airliners but I must admit you have stirred some interest.  I'll get pics of more of them than usual for you.

Most glorious, my friend!!  They're not everyone's cup of tea, but I really love 'em. I've always "liked" airliners but since I found a renewed interest Ive had tons of fun learning all I can, looking at pictures, buying kits, and trying to build them.

Back home safe, sound and with a significantly lighter wallet.
Swa(m)p and s(m)ell was slightly more pleasant than usual but I did get there later this year.
First two tables had a lot of overpriced old Airfix but it got better as I got into the room.
I saw this and thought of, well quite a few of you actually.

I nearly grabbed another 1/72 Bandai YS-11 twin turboprop airliner but resisted when he wouldn't haggle (it was right at the end of the swap meet and he would rather take it home than sell it to me cheap - fair enough, it is a rare kit).
I did get a bit carried away though.  Details on the Stash thread.

The big blue seaplane got its placing in the Sci Fi class reviewed but the original decision was upheld.  Turned out to be a good thing as I got this...

...which was completely unexpected.  Particularly as it was in the same class as Sykotik's Industria Mechanika Dragonfly on scratchbuilt platform.
I have no idea what the judges were smoking but this should have won, not the Kawanishi.

Chatted with Buzzbomb and did the rounds with Comrade Harps Whiff hunting.  Found a few.  Pics will be put onto the Model Expo thread when I get them sorted out.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Perhaps the same thing that Fred and the gang were to think their Great Dane could talk?

Thanks folks.

I'm working midday to five this week which means that I only get a few hours at the bench in the morning if i'm lucky.
The worst thing though is having to have my lunch before I leave.  It's just not right eating it that early.

Is that the Heavy Kit Hughes HK-1 kit Fred ?  If it is I was in negotiations with the owner a few years ago to obtain the moulds which fell through for some reason.  Got a set of those Anigrand engine nacelles and props though ---
