Which one?

Catherine "Daisy Duke" Bach?

Jessica "Daisy Duke" Simpson?

April "Daisy Duke" Scott?

Strewth, I didn't know they could make shorts THAT short!

That's how them denim panties got the name in the first place. "Daisy Dukes."  ;D ;D ;D  Might just be a US thing, though, I dunno.  ;D

And this may be heresy but I like April.

Why should I have to choose?

Some fiddling and fettling today before work.  H-21 rotor blades painted, Kraz truck cab parts connected, some weapons attached to the Javelina and an Airfix Boomerang I may have neglected to mention got primed.

Not a UK name as far as I know.

Figures as much and to be honest I'm blown away that there is any presence or awareness of the show outside the United States other than pockets of "cult" viewers. It's such a focused "American" show. Perhaps that's one reason why actually?  -- I love me some Duke Boys, I grew up watching it and I don't even hate the movie(s).

Has any y'all seen the 1:1 scale General Lee whif, the General Grant?:

       I'd like to get this one side by side with the General Lee for pictures then they could drag race or something. (always pictures first THEN race  ;)   )

Oh very good!

I've not heard of that, but I guess it was predictable.

Same here!! I just saw it for the first time maybe 6 days ago? Pretty handy coincidence that this stuff came up after.

Shouldn't General Grant be a rival make to Dodge?
A Plymouth for example.  Or a Ford or Chevy?

It has crossed my mind to build a whole set of "General" cars.
General Lee Dodge Charger.
General Grant Plymouth Road Runner.
General Wellington Jaguar MkII.
Marshal Ney Citroen 2CV.
Field-marshal Rommel Mercedes 500SL.
General Tojo Nissan Skyline.
etc

Today;
New kits grokked.  Stage 2 PSR on Boomerang.  More of Kraz cab built.  Some sanding done on Harrier B at which point Mrs z interrupted proceedings.

Plymouth and Dodge were both MOPAR, so the General Grant definitely ought to be either a Pontiac GTO/Chevy Monte Carlo or Ford pony car.

Oh I know that Scoot, but surely there was competition between the two camps?
MG & Triumph were both British Leyland (by the 70's anyway) yet their owners hate each other.  My Spitfire driving mate used to roll down the window and spit at oncoming MGs.

'69 Mercury Cyclone or '69 Olds Cutlass would be good as General Grant (avoiding the too obvious Mustang and Nova options).

Oh I'm going back 30 years at least when it was required tea time viewing on a Saturday before off down the pub. Oh it was on the BBC as well so no adverts

That's a little harsh  ;D He may not have been Napoleon's finest, but whenever the Man needed someone for a job that just required action rather than thinking about the action he was the man to turn to.

Never felt like that, but me and Jan always felt sorry for MG drivers. Their cars were so chunky compared to the svelte lines of our Spit. Especially with her top down

No modelling today.
Went over to support one of the sisters-in-law who was having a fund raising buffet in her cafe to raise money for victims of the Laos dam collapse.
A rather fine Thai buffet accompanied by traditional dancing.
$2000 raised.
