Looks as though it could do with a couple of horses up front and a slave at the back whispering "remember thou are mortal"  ;)

Agreed!  But whose figure will he use as emperor in this Romanesque Triumph?

Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Sorry, Fred, but that's Pontius Pilate. ;)

 ;D ;D ;D

Anyway Triumph's weren't only granted to Emperors. Most, at least in the earlier years were granted to successful generals.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Not sure of this, but I think generals got ovations, emperors triumphs.  I will check and report back.

A Triumph for the emperor, Nortons for the generals, Ariels for the officers, Royal Enfields for the NCOs and BSAs for everyone else.

No modelling today.  Work intervened.
Had a "discussion" with a customer who wanted to post a parcel that was greater than the maximum size of 105cm.  He was a believer in the school of "but it's only a little bit over" (6cm in this case).  This is not a school of thought Australian Post subscribes to.

That was part of the reason for Caesar's declaration of war against the Senate- they (the boni) refused to treat him like any other Roman general to have refilled the Treasury coffers.

It appears that latter ones were reserved for Emperors but early ones were for generals. Learn something new every day
