Love the Ramcharger... drove one some years ago and was really impressed with the performance and the width of the car. Loved the dashboard also (that's what the driver really sees once driving in a car, right..), as remark got to say they're pretty crude also agricultural like... Sold it once a fanblade took off and got jammed halfway in the bonnet.

Love the sea comet too! great color!

Thanks Dave.

The AMT camper comes with a "65 El Camino.  Even in the original box art you can see it is under scale.

There is no way a normal height human could stand up in that camper.  Hobbits maybe OK though.
Here's a build I found on the interweb.

I won't be starting this for a while Kit.  Just thinking in 3 dimensions and mocking stuff up.

I may have, in an idle moment, started a 1/72 Cessna 172 float plane today.  Nice little kit but it's missing the rear window "glass".  Odd, as the bag was sealed (albeit with staples).

I also had a stash rummage.  The Mystery Inc whiff elsewhere on the forum got me thinking.  When I finish the Kraz i'll have space to start another 1/35 build.
I bought this for the crane, which I used on the CAT D9 dozer, and i've been at a loss how to whiff the rest of it.  Well now I know.

The camper body is from a 1/25 AMT El Camino.  I haven't used it as intended because it is severely underscale, being closer to 1/35.  It'll be perfect for this.

I can see it leaking in all sorts of new and inventive ways.  Post-apocalyptic camper, then?

Allegedly, of course...  ;D ;)

The ARII one? Nice little kit, and from what I remember - and the bits I actually completed - it goes together well and looks the part. Fun li'l thing.

Build up the rear fuselage and make it into a early model 172

Thanks Brad F.  Good tip.  I'm going to try making a clear part from packaging plastic but if (when) that fails I will bear it in mind.
Thanks for the link.
How are you anyway?

Rick, it's boxed up as made by "Grip" and according to Scalemates was originally produced by Eidai in '72 before being repopped by Grip, Enter and then Arii.  I'd like more of both this and the wheeled version.

Parcel allegedly delivered today has gone missing.  It should have been signed for.  Working for Australian Post I will be able to do some digging tomorrow and see what is what.
It's a Hasegawa Nakajima Renzan with Shinden Kai and Goh guided bomb so it's not a cheap kit to lose...

Brad, glad you're getting over things and back on track. May it continue!

Fred, I'm sure that series comes out again from time to time... not sure who is pressing them at any given release, but maybe HLJ could help you there?

Been having some up's and down's but overall good, thanks for asking.

Good to see you here and glad to hear that overall it's positive.

I investigated the missing parcel.  Turns out the label was printed too far to the left and so the first digit of my house number was missing.  It was delivered to a neighbour who signed for it without looking at the name and then when he realised the error took it to the Post Office.  They Returned To Sender before I could get there (a bit prompt - at the one I work at we keep wrongly addressed parcels for two weeks before doing this - but they are only a small shop and have almost no room).  I have e-mailed the seller (a Western Australian Hobby Shop) and told them what happened and that it is on its way back and have asked them to resend it making sure the label is printed correctly.
So, another two week wait...

He didn't recognise the name.  I'm known by my middle name but use my first name for online shopping.  And as we are on a first name basis neither of us knows the other's surname.

Only a short shed time today.  I finished weathering the Kraz tyres.

Got in an hour today between dog walking and going to work.
I finished masking the Kenz & Leslie High Country Cougar Funny Car body I started on yesterday.  I then put a couple of coats of "strawberry" on it.

I also attached the spare tyres to the Kraz trailer and did some work on the Stoopid Taxi.

That is a good looking color of red. As luck would have, I found my car kit yesterday. I just need to figure out if I have enough time to squeeze it in.

I like funny cars....   in part, because of the name!

Took our house guest out to one of the leash free areas.  A classic 'strayan view.  Gums, Wattles, blue sky and, ummmmm, a poodle...

This is almost done.  Well it was, but then I decided to scratch up a tray to mount between the fifth wheel and the cab to carry stuff.
Also needs the chains holding the dozer down.

Nice work mate

So is that a Standard Poodle or possibly what we know over here as a "Labradoodle" ? Whatever it's a nice looking dog.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

zenrat

Standard Poodle Chris, not a whiffed one.
;D

I masked and painted the second colour on the Comet today.
