No doubt!! Some here, too! I'll never forget the time I took my lil truck in to have a bad carrier bearing replaced... you know... on the drive shaft. It was making the worlds' most terrible noise. This clown replaced the wheel bearing... on the passenger side... charged over $400 dollars and I drove away with the same terrible sound and problem I had when I took it to him. I was young back then and hadn't reached the point of cynicism yet so I just let it go... were that to happen to me now, I would raise hell.

I would write more but I have 30kg of puppy sitting on my lap working on a squeakectomy...

HAHAHA!  And what is it with dogs and the penchant for eviscerating toys and removing that little squeeker thing?! It's definitely a "thing" with dogs. First time I encountered such activity I thought it was just that individual dog that was a weirdo. Turns out, lots of 'em do it!  ;D

Mrs z says that it is a race memory of disemboweling their prey.  I can see that.
I also think it is because all dogs are solipsistic anarchists revelling in destruction.

There again, Dogs at least have the grace to look a bit sheepish when you call them on their behaviour...
