Latest news, seems AiM will take on Magna Models

http://www.aim72.co.uk/page6.html

That's good news, there some Magna 'kits' that are unique and it'd be a pity to lose them.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

To be fair, there's a lot of tat in the range too, not to mention kits that have been superseded since.

One thing AIM may want to look at is the white metal and the vac canopies.  The latter were shocking and barely fitted where they touched in many kits.

For my money, the Spiteful/Seafang needs rereleasing, plus the Percival Petrel.

Very much so
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Neil has a Cessna CH-1 in works in both 1/72 and 1/48.
I have a couple of screengrabs of the CATIA model Neil posted in the Wings of Peace Yahoo group,
however I'm not posting them as I don't have permission.

Will AIM do also the military version with 2 Hawk missiles hanging from the tail, as Adams did in the good ol' days?

Look in the upper left corner, sorry for the bad image, it's the only one I have found.

Could it have been one of the first whif-in-a-box models?  ;D
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

How ever would that have flown? I know the engine is in the front, but all that weight that far aft would have wrecked the CG position surely?

Yes, of course. Adams must have wanted to cash on its Hawk launcher/transporter set. Maybe they had prepared the moulds for the chopper as a promo from Cessna and when the real one was unsuccessful, had to find a way of selling it? I have never heard of a civilian version of the Adams kit.

The Big Gimper

There is a lot of chatter about this over at the Facebook Group Canadian Military Aircraft.

But no sign of it either at AIM or Hannants. Can any UK based folks comment on this? Maybe a Telford release?

Work In Progress ::

Lots of stuff

The Wooksta!

If it's out, it'll only be available through Hannants.  Neil Gaunt is by all accounts a bit odd.

Yeah. I kinda expected that.  I was hoping to see some teaser photos at AIM but nothing yet.

It was on the website as I remember it too, but then a lot of what Neil had announced has been removed. The De Havilland Drover for example --

I wish he'd sort-out the AIM website.  It's a mess. What's current and what's not?

The only Transport Wings full-kits available on Hannants at present are the 1:72 A310 and 1:48 Beech AQM-37.  Everything else is decal sets or conversion packs.

The Wooksta!

It's an awful website, bettered in horribleness only by the Sanger one.
