Looking for some information for an idea of mine. Trying to come up with a list of most frequented aircraft for what if projects.
I came up was...

TSR.2
Rafale
Eurofighter
Tornado
English Electric Lightning

 What aircraft do you see the most as a what if? Prop aircraft too!

On this forum? TSR.2 and Spitfire, we've seen tables full of them at Telford. Nothing else comes close.

In my shed?
Heyfords.
It's the only aircraft i've started whiffing two of.
But otherwise I think Hobbes is correct.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The Wooksta!

Is that all?  I did about 30 in the space of three years - and that was BEFORE the Airfix kit!

The Harrier seems to be getting it's fair shake around here lately. But then again, the 'anything new from Airfix' claim could be a good one for what's being whiffed around here.

The XB-70 Valkyrie is to the Americans what the TSR.2 is to the British and the Arrow is to the Canadians.

Do either of those have a café named after them, complete witch a custom-etched frosted glass divider for patrons?

And my thoughts/guesses in a few other categories:

Concorde/Bombcorde, most whiffed airliner
P-51, most whiffed US piston fighter
B-25, most whiffed US piston bomber
P-82, most whiffed US attack/night
Sherman- most whiffed US tank/armor
Mosquito, most whiffed UK piston twin
Iowa, most whiffed ship
me/bf-109, most whiffed (and OOB) German piston fighter
F-104, most whiffed US orgin jet fighter
Agree on spit and TSR2

Nothing wrong with the above, likely a direct correlation to their popularity in real world, and the abundance of (cheaper) kits....

The Viggen sure does seem to be the source of a lot of whif models and profiles. Likewise, the F-20 Tigershark is done pretty often.

Only way to answer this is to put up the numbers. If you have done some whiffs of the afor mentioned aircraft list how many then I'll add them up in a few days.
