In the perhaps more "popular" category I admit to F-104, Harriers, (Sea)Victor, P-38, Sea-Dart, Mirage III, B-29, Invincible Carrier, Attacker (jet), DH88 with Spit parts.

But to counter that I have also victimized a Horsa, Belvedere and a Barourdeur on here, none of which will likely ever be considered "popular" ;D

just where oh where is that XB-70 café divider?

i'd like to nominate the F-4 Phantom II [in all its many variants] as a well wiffed a/c.

I've done three at least and there are plenty more that I have seen hereabouts and for real [on a table at a model show somewhere]

NARSES2

My own top 3

Hurricane and still going strong
Spitfire and still going strong
Typhoon - the proper one with a propellor

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

PR19_Kit

Meteor (what a surprise.....)
Canberra
Hunter
Mustang
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Captain Canada

How did it take so long to bring up the F-4 ? I thought we'd see a lot more of the Skyhawk as well, now that Airfix has released it.

yer know captain the A-4 is for me a difficult a/c to whiff. i could think say airforce X hadn't used them so its a ideal whiff and then go and find
out that they did use A-4's at some stage. i think that there are a number of say african airforces since say 1970 that could easily have used the
A-4 but....... thanks for the idea.
