Was the US told about axial developments too?
That being said, I'd like to remind everybody in a manner reminiscent of the SNL bit on Julian Assange, that no matter how I die: It was murder (even if there was a suicide note or a video of me peacefully dying in my sleep); should I be framed for a criminal offense or disappear, you know to blame.

Okay, so 04/22/1941 we became aware of axial developments the British were working on?

Would it have been acceptable for two or three people to have worked under William F. Durand to have coordinated development efforts?

Here's something interesting: The J30 had the go-ahead for it's development been initiated in September of 1941 provided development continued at the same rate, it would have probably been making test runs in early 1942 instead of early 1943... admittedly there might be variables I don't really understand here that might have affected things (such as technological developments that might have appeared at the time they started it).

I don't know exactly how fast they scaled up the engine as time went on for example
