Was thinking of whiffieversing a couple of Tucano's into  a P82/twin mustang
Any thoughts or am I a complete horses rear end for even suggesting this?
too old for a paper round, too young for me pensions, dammit, back to work then!

Or a P-38 style? Sounds like a great idea!

That would be a Twicano then?  ;D

Love the idea, specially considering all the chat about P-82s going on at the moment.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

A Twin Tucano would have 4 seats... Make 2 of the crew into rear gunners ;)

Captain Canada

Kinda crazy, kinda cool ! I'm guessing it would work. Not sure about the training aspect of it, but it would make for a pretty neat attacker. Maybe 3 seats ? Maybe 2 ? maybe only 1 ? Or all 4 lol. Guns and bombs are a must. Would it have two nose wheels or would you make it a tail dragger ?

crew of two, one cockpit fitted as a fuel tank/faired flush with fuselage.
Post apocalyptic long range patrol/escort aircraft/ ground attack as secondary role.

careful, i build as fast as glaciers move and my painting leaves lots to be desired.

Ordered the requisite kits from Airfix today so probably start sometime in Feb, have to clear a few part builts  for space on the bench.

Twocano, perhaps? ;)

Twincano......?

I like the idea of this.....outer landing gear from both and both nosegears.......one cockpit n the other faired over n fuel tank. Loadsa ordanance and maybe a gun pod under the central wing firing between the prop discs......?

outer main gears and nose wheel on each fuselage, fair over the inner two u/c bays and more room for bangy, whizzy or droppy things or bfo fuel drop tanks on both outer wings,
couple of under fuselage gunpods mounted under the inner wings between fuselages, faired cockpit on left fuselage,
