Thank you chaps and I forgot to mention that the polls are running for two weeks and then the Awards Show will take place around the time of the Oscars so that you need not keep having to get the Tux out too often...  ;D

I think a big thumbs up is due here ...

The split skirt should make that easier...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Oh you are naughty.

Suppose I'd better get changed now, not practical to drive to work in.

Tremendous effort Mr TC, thank you very much

Difficult choices but they are made
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Great job, TC! That's a lot of work and much appreciated!

Thanks,

Wow, LOTS of stuff! Thanks a lot, too, for compiling it all and presenting it for voting. Highly appreciated!

Gotta vote soon...!

TC, thank you so much for putting this on!  I think it is a great way to gather motivation and recognize some great work.

A couple of observations for future consideration.

I found the profiles category tough for me to judge (I'm a plastic and putty guy, but apprectiate the work that goes into computer drawings). Many profilers have dozens of entries.  Some are repaints, some are full up WHIF's, some likely take much more time than others to do, some may use a flight sim app, others perhaps not.  Perhaps a few more categories (alternate markings, prop, jet, civil, ?)

Perhaps consider a "silly" category.  We had some great builds and paint jobs in many categories, but were obviously in the funny, tounge-in-cheek, category. Think they should be separate, as to be recognized on their own merit, and not in the same category as more realistic, plausible WHIFs.  Not sure where the group opinion would lie on this.

Please not a criticism of the builders, nominators or "the Academy", just some thoughts. Great job!

Voted!

There's lots of categories, as is, and some didn't have all that many nominees. That includes the drawings category where I increased the number by nominating myself...

Guys, first thank you for your comments.

It`s always a pleasure to organise this as a bit of fun for the end of the previous year and as mentioned before, to recognise the efforts put in by members.

Secondly, the academy is always happy for feedback to be made and suggestions put forward.

I will at a later date respond to the questions and comments put forward so far.

Now getting back to the main reason for this post....,

The polls will be closed at approx 9pm GMT on Saturday 15th February with the Awards show set for the following Saturday, (21st), one day before that `other` rather less prestigious academy show goes on air.

Make sure you get all your votes in by the allotted time.

Voted!

Some very difficult categories to have to make a choice in this year.

For me the most difficult was "Tracked Armour"; one build a little south of six very close contenders for top spot & I was only allowed to choose two! :banghead:

Thanks for all your effort, tc! Well done!
