still finishing it off but here is my take of the last heavy bomber used by the raf towards the end of the second world war in 1952. back story will follow

Forgive my ignorance but what is that "spark plug" on the top of Shackleton fuselages ?

IIRC it's aerial for one of the ECM systems Chris, but I don't know which one in particular. I've never seen it on any other type either.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

its the ARI 18144 ecm system but havent been able to find any details apart from this cut a away of a shack on the system
