AJ Aviation is the offspring in a way of what was The Aviation Hobby Shop.

Now has anyone on site been to the new shop ? If so any comments. Also do you know if they stock Lifecolor ? Yes I know I can phone/e-mail but I'd like any views on the shop.

Why ? Well I can get there fairly easily from Paddington (Getting to P can be fun sometimes) so I might take a trip down there, but I'd like any views first as to whether it's worthwhile.

Much better layout than the old shop, Tony and Jan are their same old selves - seem much happier there to be honest.

Lifecolor - don't know to be certain Chris, but the website (http://ajaviation.co.uk/) says yes.  They did stock a range of acrylics in the old shop along with Lifecolor brushes.  So maybe it was Lifecolor.

Well worth a trip - 5 mins walk from West Drayton station.  Actually you can see the back of the building from the station.  Were it not for the canal it'd be 30 seconds walk!

The old shop did stock Lifecolor so I thought they might still do  :thumbsup:

I shall take a trip down there once I've got Huddersfield out of the way

Great shop, but you have to climb a few flights of stairs to get to it though...

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
