Not a problem. Kit!

Should I mention that she seems to move through the water nicely?

I'd be interested in how that would have worked for real, it surely would have been fast, even at a cost of some slamming over any waves.

Agree, fast, but an attrocious ride in any type of chop.  Flat bottoms can make for a teeth chattering ride.

Great work on the hull and structure Old Wombat.  Looks like youv'e gone through a few sheets of evergreen   Really well done.

You can say that again!

I once had a ride in an experimental flat bottomed ski-boat that Fairey were working on. Compared to a Huntsman it was like riding over cobbles compared to a motorway! Needless to say they decided it wouldn't do their image much good and canned it.

B... shots, just for Kit;

So are you saying Kit is more a transom man then?  I am more of a stem man myself.... ;)

Veeeeeery interesting, and thanks for the pics of the transom.

That's a very different hull form, with a semi-cathedral bow, a flat stern with the strakes. I'd be interested in how that would have worked for real, it surely would have been fast, even at a cost of some slamming over any waves.

Basically a Hickman Sea Sled, flat transom and all.

Although I'm not sure how well flush intake jet drives would work with that hull, you'd primarily be sucking in foam at speed.

Captain Canada

Love the way the hull looks. Definitely looks the part. Some nice details emerging as well.

Well, here she is, as is.

Mid Deck:

I hope it doesn't look like I've been slacking off! :-[

I went through about 4 different jet arrangements before settling on these & a similar number of reversing cans. Then there was the pondering & thinking about how to use various original box parts in the build (I'm trying to use as many as possible as a personal challenge, without going stupid about it).

Coming along well. Lovely work on the cockpit
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Wow, really like the drive especially, with the screen intakes and jet buckets.
