Having done the research for an ex who was into domination and submission, there's a distinct difference between consensual BDSM and the crap portrayed in the movie/books.  The bull hockey that's in the 50 Shades trilogy is, as you've pointed out, domestic abuse and any member of the Community worth their leathers doesn't believe that garbage.

It should also be noted that 50 Shades started out as :shudder: Twilight fan-fiction.

I think so to as I am sure that the best modellers paint box could easy top 50 shades [USAF, RCAF, RAF, Luftwaffe, et al]  ;D

These used to only circulate in printed fan magazines, but nowadays of course, they're all on the web for anyone to find. Fans of the Twilight books/movies tend to be romance-obsessed females with a thing about handsome/cruel/scary/sexy vampires and werewolves, so use you imagination, or do yourself a favour and don't.... :rolleyes:

I understood the phrase "fan-fiction" it was the "Twilight" part I didn't know anything about so I thank my fellow members for the information they have given me on here thus saving me from probably a horrible fate.
