Almost fell at the last hurdle. The underside crosses lay right ontop of a couple of massive excrescences that I think are supposed to represent the aileron control rods. Surgery on wet decals is quite frustrating!

I hope I got away with it!

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

It looks very sinister to me,   excellent whiffery,  well done.

Now that is wonderfull

I've built that kit so know how well you've done
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I've been holding off waiting for you to finish it before I say...

...fantastic.
Sometimes it's the subtle ones that work the best.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I don't speak English fluently but I guess NOOB rather means Not (at all) Out Of the box, and here is the proof of it below.
You probably know one engine was not enough for speed and safety of reco airplanes, and that brought to life another twin-boomer: Bv-141Z/2m

And asymmetry was a lovely idea, and more engines were still required : Bv-141Z/3m
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

I recently acquired this kit and had to dig up this article as I am really thinking of trying it myself.

I built the two-engined version as a maritime surveillance aircraft. Greg and RLM24 blue camo. Good fun.

Captain Canada

Neat machine in any guise. That wing shape does it for me.

Enjoy! I didnt get the level of finish on the model that I wanted but I think that the swap was fairly subtle

I like how yours came out and figure it is subtle enough that not too many on this side of the pond will pick up on it.
Also if I do go this route I will not reverse the prop or gondola because, I am lazy and the prop and controls are supposed to be on that side and spin that way.

Indeed! That very much reflects the way I approached it too. I have considered (briefly) sketching up the gondola in CAD and then just mirroring it. But the thought of making each pane of Perspex makes me wince.
