That's some cool stuff. The dawn of the program was a neat video. Not sure you'd eject alive from that second explosion tho  I'd like to look into this more but I have enough hobbies already. And no time or money lol

It's £30 to download the game now it's reached v.1.02, but then you get free updates forever, which is pretty good. It's sometimes on offer on Steam as well.

Time I can't help you with I'm afraid..... ;)

KSP is currently at version 1.1.2 and has some fantastic graphics for the water

Player Ducky Daniel has made a slighty awesome 3500 seat airliner in KSP. For heaven's sake don't show this video to Airbus...

(take his advice and watch it in 2x speed as well. Funnily enough, he wasn't getting the greatest frame rate...)

Youtuber and film maker Nassault has made many beautiful videos using KSP and a hell of a lot more besides. His latest one seriously raises the bar, and features narration by Scott Manley:

Hehehe, that's development work!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

He's done it again, this time with rockets, which makes it more awesome of course:

He's DEFINITELY out to lunch, but very funny nonetheless.  ;D ;)

I like the concept of 'explodium'.  ;D

Well, he's just finished a career mode play-through with loads of realism mods that wouldn't work consistently with each other, so I think he needs an antidote to 'sensible' and 'frustrating' at the moment...  ;)

Scott's discovered the TSR.2 program and the English Electric/Shorts proposal to launch the P.17A vertically using the P.17D VTOL platform, so he decided to have a go at it in KSP. It went a little off the rails, but it's highly entertaining non-the-less.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9wxkn7WLW4

Bear in mind that this is a recording of a livestream rather than an edited video, so it's much longer and less polished. If he seems to be talking in non-sequiturs to somebody you can't hear, that's because he was looking at a live chat window as he streamed and was answering text questions from that. When he mentions Skye and Orion, they're his daughter and son respectively. Skye (12 yrs old) sometimes joins in the livestreams, which can be very entertaining or very annoying, depending what mood she's in. Scott's patience can be every bit as impressive as his flying skills....  ;)

In case you're wondering about the flying sub, Scott made it the subject of last week's livestream, only to discover that the mod maker had decided to 'help him out' by making it MUCH lighter, to the point where all the challenge was gone. He wasn't amused.... :banghead:

That guy is hilarious. Love the sub. Cigar with lawn spike thingies.....etc etc. Defo it passing it's own debris on the way down was pretty wild !
