Right the Doctor paid a visit this morning - She who must be obeyed rather then the young lad who's just started at the surgery. Result is I'm still quarantined. She's coming again on Friday to see if I'm allowed out for Sunday. At the moment it's looking 50/50.

I shall keep you informed, please keep your fingers crossed

ok gang. If Chris cant make it, the show (or stand) can still go on. The table cloths and small sig badges/"do not touch " placards are with Richard (He of Coventry & Warwickshire). He has been tasked with delivering the cloths to the tables. He wont be able to hang around the stand much as he will be running the Coventry stand as well in hall 1.

At the end of the show, it might be worth Kit taking charge of the cloths etc if Richard forgets to retrieve them. Im more likely to see Kit at another show in the midlands than most of you guys for the cloths to be returned to me.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Right update.

It's looking very unlikely. Apparently before I'm in the clear I have to have 2 days without having any new "blisters" and then the blisters have to have crusted over. If not then I am still infectious. Like most of these things you are at your most infectious before you know you have it but the period hangs on with Chickenpox  :banghead:. If you get it as a child then the infection period is 5 days or so after you know you have it. As an adult then you can just about double it. The whole process slows down to half speed or worse. A friend was off work for 3 months at age 30 he tells me, but he had severe complications.

Anyway I have a couple of new blisters this morning, so I can't see them clearing. The Dr is being very adamant that I do as I'm told. She's hoping I can get out for some fresh air tomorrow, but no crowds or other gatherings and no public transport. The fact my body, inc my face is covered in small scabs has got nothing to do with it ! I'd be constantly apologising to people .

I'll confirm on Friday but it looks unlikely, sorry.

Chris - who's desperately looking for the next show he can get to after the Northern show

Sorry to hear about your troubles Chris.

I completely forgot that I had asked for a stand this year, so Freightdog will be in hall one. Hope to see some of you there.

So colin should I bring my Swift FR7 set to swap to get the nosewheel door sorted? We've e-mailed about it.

Good idea, I was going to post it tomorrow! Will bring replacement door along, don't worry about swopping set as I have a spare part to replace your missing one.
