More parts were made for the little diorama. Don't know if I will use all of them, but the prints could be useful anyway.

A little cabin in the woods. Or something like this.

The machine gun for the T72 tank

Two UAZ-452 fresh out of the printer...

... and now cleared and cured.

The T-72 put together and painted. I was really surprised how detailed the print was. And this model is just 3 parts - chassis, turret, machine gun.

A little wall ruin. You can always use that.

The first UAZ, now completely painted

I have an idea what this might be.... :)

WIP of the diorama plate, will take the few things form the model railroad stash. This one is also 3D printed.

Fascinated to see the pre and post clean-up. 3D printing still has a complete air of mystery around it as far as I'm concerned. ;D

Thanks for posting

The most complicated part of 3D printing is creating a good 3D model. Where I am very limited to do so.
But luckily, there are several websites where you can download many 3D models for 3D printing for free. You then can play with different scales etc.

When printing with a resin printer, its often better to print a model "diagonal" and not horizontal. The result is then better. The disadvantage is that it takes longer as higher models directly influence the printing time on a resin printer. (This is different for a FDM pritner).
And you need support structure which the slicer software can do for you or assist you in doing it. After printing and cleaning the model with Isopropanol, the structure should be removed when the model is still "soft". Its often better to do it then than doing it after hardening/curing the model with UV light.

Of course, you often have to try and error and sometimes you have to work against the textbook to get the better result.

I watch a few YouTube channels who use 3D printing in their builds and even if i could afford to buy one i doubt it would get alot of work.
Would be good for fuel cans..ammo ..boxes and the like ..oh and window frames ..doors..crap..the more i think about it the more items keep getting loaded into the soft squishy bit between my ears.
Yup ive pretty much doubled that first list but like ya said nonobars mate my biggest problem would be the design sides of things..ive got a practical brain..not a computer one..id get so lost looking at the screen i wouldnt know which way to go.
Guess ill stick to stratch building for a long time yet.

It's the 1/100 scale that blows my mind!

1/100 scale ??? ..the only scale where a microscopes are needed just to see the parts and bugger painting em..i have enough trouble with 48th these days..awesome stuff nono  ;D

I wouldn't argue with a word of that

All major parts are printed now, maybe I need a few smaller items for the scenario. So now, the classic "model train" building can take place.

The secret weapon system now has some wheels on it, so it can be used more efficient. In the background the printed wall ruin.

Planting some trees, those are a cheap set of HO scale trees bought on Amazon. Good China-Quality.... well its ok for the usage.

The second UAZ-452 is now completed as well.

And finally: Pull Igor, pulll! :)

Might want to tow that tank from rear end. There could be a round in that gun yet.

Most of the grass etc is now added, only the street itself is missing.

Printing some barrels and some little people. You always need barrels for a diorama. Every time. Every where.

Street (HO scale model railroad parts) and the little hut are added.

Introducing Alina, Sophia and Yegor. Those three were the only ones that printed ok, other were missing arms or legs.

Now almost everything is complete, the diorama can now be put together.

Something I wanted to build for quite a while is a Leopard 1 tank. Somehow, I like this one.

And now that this older tank got into the focus again, I was looking for a model of it. Unfortunately, I could not find a kit in 1/72 which is my preferred scale. But luckily, I found a 3D model for download and so I scaled it to 1/72 and printed it with the Resin printer. Printing worked quite good for it, all details came out nicely.

There are only two part, the chassis and the turret, so "building" it is not an issue. Painting will be a bit more tricky as everything is already in one part.

So started to add some color to it:
