Nice builds Chris

P-72 - never heard of the kit - Alliance you say?  Not too great a stretch of the imagination to see it as a 'Turbobolt' - especially with the contraprops.

If it came from a Spitfire kit, ARGH! but it really does look perfect here. I wonder where it came from?

Having checked again it may well be a Shackleton one. I do seem to have rather a few Aeroclub white metal ones for some reason

I was going to say the Aeroclub Shackleton replacement props Chris, got a few of those myself (used the Shackleton prop that comes in the Frog kit on my Alliance XP-72 kit, the spinner being almost a dead ringer to the XP-72 spinner in shape and size ).  Nice job on the P-72 though    looks good in that scheme (did a P-47M like that)
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Yup they produced some nice kits. I'm going to keep my eye open for another P-72 as I know what I did wrong with this one (I've given myself 500 lines  :banghead:) and I'd like to see one in a SEAC scheme or maybe USAAF Pacific colours ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
