So what if the Indians bought the EE Lightning in preference to the Mig-21 ?
OK short on legs for such a large country, but still clearly one of the best point to point interceptors in the world.

Indian Lightning F6 Indo-Pakistan War 1971

Latest Airfix 1/72 F6 Lightning using some decals and colour scheme from the Fujimi Indian Mig-21. All out of the box construction.
The painting scheme maybe wrong in the Fujimi kit, later research seems to indicate that the colour was a base tan with green tiger stripes.
But I decided that the green on green was just too cool.

Finest Lightning I have EVER seen :drink:. Beautiful, and clever use of the 74Sqn emblem...well done. I'm seriously thinking of putting in some time to learn to use an airbrush, my handbrush skills are soooo limiting :banghead:

Nice.
Would this put Indian Lightnings up against Pakistani Starfighters?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Nice! There's a lot of debate concerning IAF C992 - I plan to build this real world aircraft in the future, too. The Fujimi paint scheme is certainly wrong, but it suits the IAF Lightning here VERY well (India rules - at least concerning odd aircraft liveries). Nice one - a nice buddy to my recent Ajeet II. ;)

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
