a set off of a 1:48 A-10   :lol:  I was sat there with razor saw in hand,  and then realised that there the same diameter as the Lears body  :o
still the story is that they run on a high density Zip fuel, with a massive bypass ratio, to give a lot of thrust on a very sippy engine !  and im sticking to it at the moment...
when I mentioned the engines to a couple of the punters they asked if they were from a 1:32 scale A-10, which shows the size of the A-10 I suppose.
just looked up my research for the engines  Lear engines are 3500lb thrust  ( I think that's each),  A10s ( CT34s I think) 9275 lb thrust ( again each I think)  so around 2.65 times
