In the late 60's and early 70's, the USAF and USN were starting dedicated dissimilar air combat training programs (Aggressors and Top Gun). The USAF wanted a small, supersonic fighter that had the size, performance and appearance that could simulate the Mig-21. At the time, the USAF fighters were big powerful long range fighters (F-105, F-4...) so they went off shore looking for options. They eventually leased a squadron of SAAB J-35 Drakens.  These became the first Aggressor Squadron.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

That looks good. I like the dark green edges to the light green stripes: very nice effect.

That has a remarkably 'Soviet' look to it Ed, nice one indeed.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Wow, really nice!  Extra points for getting a fantasitc result from such a "basic" kit.

She really looks the part- an even has the instrumentation pod, so they can debrief those hotshot fighter pilots exactly how the got "killed"

Very much so
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

A Draaken always looks good - but yours looks very good in those colours.

Looks like an ex-Denmark aircraft.
