What an amazing colour scheme, awesome.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

This is going to be glorious once complete

Thanks for your comments. I've added rigging between the interplane struts using invisible thread. Not my favourite modelling task so that will do. Floats are next and the support struts are 30x60thou strip. Individually the legs seem quite flimsy but together they combine to make a solid structure. Each float will be supported by triangular frames braced together. A few time consuming little jobs have been a couple of scratched Schwarlose mgs for the front and rear cockpits and some bomb racks from card and rod.

Crumbs, I'd be afraid to breathe on it, let alone try and rig it!

Thanks to the properties of superglue in its various guises it's more solid than it looks.

Final push and got her finished. Would have liked some KUK crowns for the rudders but the spares are no more. Constructed a pair of bomb racks for light projectiles for targets of opportunity. German naval theory at the time thought that a stick of smaller bombs was more likely to hit the target than larger single bombs. Photos suggest a similar liking for this type of bomb load by the AH navy so I devised two racks with four tips sticking out. Two lengths of card with holes drilled through and dark grey rod with rounded tips for the missiles. Props are remnants from Airfix RE8's and I used the spare gravity tank in the Roden Gotha kits. I'm going to call it the Ufag GWD, a gross wasser doppeldekker, circa October 1918.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
