Has anyone had an idea to make a stealth variant on the UH-1 Huey? I've been thinking if the army made a stealth variant of the Blackhawk copter, so why not make the stealth Huey? Imagine if we they make the UH-1 stealth variant with the same materials like the stealth blackhawk copter.

Would be marching to the beat of his own drum, if he didn't detest marching to any drumbeat at all so much.

There was supposed to be a stealth Blackhawk? Wasn't that before we knew much about stealth?

Captain Canada

But it's sooo ugly ! I can see an updated version, looking a little more modern, so go for it !

Supposedly a stealth Blackhawk was used in the Bin Laden kill.

famvburg

Uh, no, that was a Black Hawk. Are those two mixed up again?

Jesse220

Yes the Stealth Black hawk was used to kill Bin Ladin, but it was destroyed. Byt are there more than 1 stealth Black Hawk?

Zombolt

there were 2 stealth black hawks. one was destroyed mostly, leaving a chunk of the tail left.

the other one got away to never be seen at all.

Captain Canada

Don't Dragon do them in 144th scale ? And they come in a box of two ( I think ) Or maybe it's just one complete and one tail section

If the other one got away, where could it halved gone?

Whether or not there is/was a supposed stealth version of the Blackhawk is unknown as the Defense Dept. nor any other agency will confirm or deny it's existence. There had to have been 2 helicopters in the bin Laden raid. Because if one copter got damaged, then there would've been a need to have a second to extract the spec. ops team.

You get 2 copters in one box.

I already have the kit, but haven't built it yet.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Oh yeah I think the one that got away could halved been a stealth variant to the blackhawk. But enough of the blackhawk, we need to make a stealth variant to the UH-1 Huey copter.
