Election Special: Conservatives win; Ed Milliput vows 'I'll be back'.

Weaver's BAS Weldon Snowcat (http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,40415.msg679176.html#msg679176) is first past the finishing post.  Congratulations Mr Weaver, a well-deserved winner. 👍👍

Actually well done to all who managed who finished their builds within the GB period, great work all round and potential Whiffie nominees. 👍🏿

Commiserations to those who couldn't finish in time: I do hope you all continue to post progress (I will be) and eventually show us your completed builds.

And finally, whether you participated in the GB or not, thanks to those who checked out the GB, in particular those who voted.

Wow, that's amazing, thank you all so much!

I'd just like the thank my parents, my family and friends, my model shop owner, my other model shop owner, Academy for designing the truck kit, Matchbox for the tank kit and Revell for re-issuing it, Humbrol for making the paint and glue and Windsor and Newton for the inks, Halfords for the undercoat, Nodwell and the BAS for providing the inspiration, Little Cars for the fluid steel shot, Sainsbury's for keeping me fed, OVO Energy for providing the light and heat that enabled me to work, UW Club for the internet connection, my postman, all the companies that made the clothes I wore during the week, my milkman, my next door neighbour, his wife, daughter and cat, my cat Max of course, all my ancestors going back to prehistoric times, my hairdresser, my hairdresser's friend, my hairdresser's friend's analyst, my hairdresser's friend's analyst's dog, the people who are still reading this in the hope that there's a punchline, and the people who've just realised that they are the punchline.

Thanks folks.

Well done Weaver, its an interesting and unusual vehicle, a smashing build and pretty damn good considering it was done in less than a week as you were also finishing off the Cuban Crisis FAA Skyhawk

Must admit I'm waiting to see the overall diorama of the BAS Antarctic base, as that should be cracking with a range of interesting Whiffs to confound and confuse the unsuspecting public  ;D

Nice one - honor is well deserved.

And nice to see that a non-military "thing" made it!

And, yes, special applause to kitbasher for hosting the mayhem.
It was a pleasure, looking forward to a revival in the future!

Yup many congratulations to Weaver. As Dizzy says it's nice to see a non military build (and not an aircraft either !) win

Congratulations also to Jaybe for pushing Weaver hard and earning second and to Sandiego for his Jaguar grabbing the bronze

To be noted is that we also have a civil job in 4th - well done Bungle. I've build this kit and I can only admire your work

Well done to all, if you finished or not

Kitbasher did a fantastic job so many thanks to him for organising it. Don't forget without this there would not have been a 1 Week GB

Finally. I'll be posting details of the next possible GB's tomorrow or Friday

Chris

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well done H.  I voted for it which is normally the kiss of death.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I didn't take part in the GB due to time constraints, but it was great fun watching from the sidelines. So many great builds coming together in such a short timeframe
