These float fighters makes me think of the magnificent "Porco Rosso"-film.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

there seems to be a fashion with Hawk 200 from Matchbox,
and I just found one cheap : so I made a companion to the other Hawk

the central float is from a very old Frog Swordfish
the small ones from a Duck

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

NARSES2

Looks a perfect candidate for FAA colours
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Elegant. And the floats avoid the Hawk 200's minuscule landing gear (esp. the front wheel) that makes it look so goofy.

in the style of the Blackburn B.20

I left the Martin parts unpainted because I so like the original sprues colors in yellow and blue

the float parts are from a Beriev 4

My favorite feature is the camouflage: almost invisible in a collection of child toys! ;D ;)

Anything that looks like a B.20 has GOT to be good.

Where did the pontoon and floats come from, surely not a B.20 kit?

(I have one of those on The Loft.  ;) One day.................)
