I can just see some of then operating off the Solent near Lee-on-Solent!  :thumbsup:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Didn.t the Fleet Air Arm operate these  as  several detached flights (each supported by an LST) during the Malayan Emergency?  I'm sure I read somewhere that 703 squadron FAA had independent flights  set up for a number of specialist trials  that included tropical and littoral detachments. 


     There's a backstory here just waiting to be written.................I'd quite enjoy researching it myself!
