It's a pulsejet rather than a ramjet and it wouldn't make it particularly fast.

The V-1 managed about 400 mph with that engine, which isn't exactly slow, especially for a bi-plane...............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Rheged

I'm assuming that the intrepid pilot was awarded extra supplies of Y-fronts in the current five year plan.

ah, I guess it might be seen as a "re-engine it" indeed :
I hadn't thought about it, because I am not used to group builds actually ...

Because of its shape and minimal frontal area.
The Macchi has a built-in headwind.
;)

The biggest problem for the Macchi would be the vibration and the acoustic pressure on the airframe from the pulses.
It'd probably shake apart before the tail burned off or it was going fast enough to lose its wings.

Only in real life Jon.  Something I don't think Eric worries about.   ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
