Thanks very much Chris, I'll have to chase one down.

That vintage of Sikorsky flying boats & amphibians have always interested me, they're so '30s' in look, and apparently were very good aircraft too. I went aboard a twin boomed S-38 at Oshkosh on the only occasion I went there and it was amazing being aboard such a piece of aviation history.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Less than 10 mins later I've bought one.  ;D

Apparently Eduard either do one themselves or they've re-popped the Sword one, and their kit comes with all sorts of extras, decals for SEVEN different versions and a book about the aeroplane! What's not to like?

Ok, it cost a bit, but do I care at my age?  ;D

There's no way that ever looks whiffed.

In fact you could display on a show stand, painted in an RW scheme, and no-one would even THINK it was whiffed.
