I didn't know about this Kaibogikai KB flying boat :
it looks very special, beautiful, with very original wings-struts

thanks for the reference :
I may do something like this sometime  ;)

Two engines,  I thought that there was four :banghead:

Lovely.

To be followed by a Catalina tri-motor?  ;)

This flying boat was looking so normal, perfect, that I had to ask Google what the RW Do-24 was? OK, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dornier_Do_24 shows the true one had 3 engines and yours: 2, perfectly done!
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

A four engined variant would look cool as well

I will think about a 4-engined version, but am trying to reduce my stash  ;D

Second that. With just two it looks a little underpowered? Two turboprops from a Hercules would work well, though...?

Give it two R-2600 like the Steward-Davis 'Super Catalina'.  ;D
