The Hadrian Sea-Glider is wonderful
Is the tow plane pulling it also a floatplane?

High-speed launch!

My thoughts exactly.

Or something completely daft like Gar Wood's four V-12 Packard 1M-2500 powered Miss America X.

View from the con of the restored boat.

That must sound glorious...

...from a safe distance.  From the con?  Stone deaf in 30 seconds.

Lovely.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Love the Sea Hadrian and it's not to daft as there were a couple of proposals for float plane gliders and I think the Japanese may have put one into limited production ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I read that there even were plans for a Go242 flying boat version
and about a conversion kit by RS models, but never saw it, alas ...
so I had a try by myself some years ago

I saw this Go-242 flying boat in a book or magazine but I cannot go anymore to my paper databases and shelves of books and magazines, and scanner, sorry, I cannot walk anymore, sorry  :-\ (the oncologist will say if this is definitive).

I missed this in your posts Tophe, and I'm so VERY sorry to hear it. :(

You're one of the most innovative posters on here, and I hope the medics can sort things out for you.

Thanks a lot to all, while we should go back to the main subject here: celebrating ericr's seaplane models. Maybe tomorrow I may try to draw a twin-hull version of his Go-242 seaplane... ;)
