Well, I tell you the complete history of this asymmetry:
The boss of the design team said: "I dislike asymmetry, let's restore symmetry with a zwilling version!" then he saw this:

... then he concluded: 'these internal floats are useless, heavy and dragging, this is bad, so I agree, the asymmetric way is far better, OK!"

Proa? In French (polynesian) we say "prao": it must go back and forth without turning, I fear this could not work with a wing profile... but what if...
