In addition to the fabric wings, early Mk1 Hurricanes may be distinguished by having "car-doors" instead of sliding canopies.

Airfix 1/72 Hurricane Mk1 (early) with Academy P39 Airacobra front canopy & door.
Paint job almost as per Airfix instructions.  Kit decals.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ruddy MARVELOUS, to quote a Guiness advert.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

All it needs is a pair of spats!

Librarian

Really inspired, and beautifully executed .

An open canopy with spats would be nice.

Thanks folks.
I made it a suicide door as I figured it would be easier that way to get out in a hurry.
Inspiration came from someone on this site talking about car doors.

Mossie

Very useful for the Hurricane due to those fuel tanks.

It looks odd in a quirky way, I like it.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Rat

That is certainly different, and really sweet!
