I know what I want to do, I just need the markings for a certain high-energy soft drink maker....

How well do 1/24 car decals match up with a 1/72 jet aircraft?

IME they are too large.  Are 1/43 decals available?

Superscale do some for a T-28 in 1/48, might work for a larger aircraft in 1/72.  The Red Bull decals will be around 5.5cm long

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

1/32 slot car decals might work too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Tricky - would need a really big aircraft. 1:43 is much better, or check for slot car decal sheets - they come in 1:32 and there's a wide range available. I used such a sheet for my "Jägermeister" He 100 air racer (a rather small aircraft), and that worked fine.

I suppose in some parts of the world we are off ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Revell did an interesting re-issue with new parts for their 1/48 B-25 with Red Bull decals. They turn up quite cheaply on Ebay sometimes.

LOL I was a day ahead of myself last night ( well, the wee hours this am anyway ) and thought it was June 1st. Guess I should live out this rainy Sunday before I go there though  Maybe as I'm a part of the commonwealth I can start mine when the Queen does

I'm still thinking a civy B-17. I'm thinking clipped wings and maybe an engine swap, aero survey or somat. Maybe a sprayer or fire fighter...we'll see !

That's where I'm going too. I have an old Memphis Belle Revell kit and a Rareplanes B-17D Vacform fuselage conversion. Good thing about the fuselage vacform is no glazing or gun ports to fill in.

Not sure what to do airliner or cargo.

It's been Monday 1st here for 40min, suppose that means I can make a start?

I think if you just go to the root directory of the GB (What if > Forum > GROUP BUILDS > The Civilinise/Militarise it GB) and hit "New Topic" you can start a thread for your build (this is how the last one worked). It will bottom post under "Rules" thread and when the GB is done we'll loft up the poll thread ... I think
Going to be finished in 2021 BEFORE I start any da*!#d new ones - CF-IDS Wolverine; Douglas Mawson; Bubba Wants a Fishin' Rig; NA F-100

Bench cleaned (yes really!), kits destashed, plumbing fittings purchased and all ready to go.
And then it was time to come inside and make the tea.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
