New category this year for us Whiffers
Imagineering, this is for a kitbash, mega conversion whiffers
Not so much just a colour scheme/marking change, they can go in the normal AFV/Aircraft/Whatever categories.

Plenty of traders, categories and much more a total Modelling fest for 3 days.

Swap meet (AKA Swamp & Smell) from 10am Monday. Elbow pads and steel toecaps recommended or do what I do and arrive late to miss the feeding frenzy.

Model cars laid out and the Henfield, Boobook and Searaider all entered into the Imagineering class by the very helpfull and efficient buzzbomb.
I'll be back on Monday to raid the swamp & smell, grok awesome models, spend money I don't have on new kits I don't really need and sit and talk rubbish at the AMCC table.

Zenrat and Buzzbomb, want to meet up at Expo on Monday? I've never actually met any of the whiffers from here.

Btw: My Wethog is on the rather well turned-out DSMC table.

I didn't do the rounds but was shown a page explaining the Galland's Wish squadron. It seemed to stress quite heavily that the paint jobs were those of actual BoB Messerschmitts. Heaven forbid they should make them up.
I'll be there until stumps on Monday so yes, lets meet up. How about we meet at the Whiff, sorry I mean at the Imagineering category table at 1400?

My photos are here but here are some of the Whiffing highlights. Due to the seriously crap lighting in the main room at Sandown these pictures, in many cases, give a clearer idea of the model than I got using my Mk 1 eyeballs.

This was large (1/48 or 1/35) and scratchbuilt or kitbashed.

This I snapped simply because it made me think of Kit.

There was a whole club display themed on cancelled projects. I photographed most of them but this has to be my favourite.
